Anita Lynne Boutwell, age 51, a resident of McHenry, MS, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew L. and Betty Lou Barnett Hovis.
Anita is survived by her husband, James Allen Boutwell of Perkinston; her children, Travis Corbitt Redmon, Benjamin Charles Redmon (Annie) and Aubrey Lynne Redmon (Austin) all of Biloxi, MS; her siblings, Dan Hovis (Lynda), Cliff Hovis (Lisa) and Dwayne Hovis (Rene); and her grandchildren, Austin Chance McAtee and Wynter Marie Redmon.
Anita served in the U.S. Air Force as a Staff Sergeant in the Information Technology department. She also worked as a substitute teacher for the Stone County schools. Anita volunteered as a Girl Scout Leader for 15 years. She loved arts, crafts, ceramics and spending time outdoors.
There will be a visitation on Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 6:00 ~ 8:00 p.m. at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
