Alvin J. Busche

Alvin J. Busche, age 81, of Long Beach, passed away on September 29, 2015, surrounded by his family.
Mr. Busche was preceded in death by his son, Bryce Busche, his parents, John and Mary Busche, and 2 brothers, Eugene Busche and Charles Busche.
Survivors include his loving wife, Billie Busche, a son, Gregory James (Kim) Busche, a brother, Robert Busche, a granddaughter, Alessandra Busche, and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Busche served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and later graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He retired as a mechanical engineering supervisor in 1999 from Stennis Space Center. He was an active member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and he enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting, traveling, and spending time with his family. Most of all, he enjoyed practicing his catholic faith.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 pm Friday, October 2, 2015, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 720 East Beach Blvd., Long Beach. Visitation will be from 1 - 2 pm in the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to St. Vincent de Paul Society, 720 East Beach Blvd., Long Beach, MS 39560.
