Alva Burns Adams Delanzo, age 101, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2009 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Delanzo was a native of Bogue Chitto, MS where she graduated from Denkman High School at Northfield, MS in 1919. She was a member of the Eastern Star, a Amerath member and a Seventh Day Adventist. """"She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and was a simply elegant lady.
She was preceded in death by her husband Mike Delanzo; a son, Joel Burns Adams; she is survived by four grandchildren, Joel Thomas Adams, Clyde Leslie Adams, Cecile L. Seal, and Gaylynn Norris seven great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
There will be a private memorial service for the family only at a later date. RIEMANN FMAILY FUNERAL HOME, Kiln DeLisle Rd, is in charge of arrangments. A gustbook may be signed at www.riemannfamily.com.
