Alton Bruce Allen, Jr., age 53, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alton Bruce Allen, Sr. and his half-sister, Gayle Matthews.
He is survived by his mother, Linda Pratt Allen, a brother, Kyle Pratt Allen, half-sister, Cathy Thompson, his daughters, Elizabeth Cathryn Allen and Lauren Shelby Allen, and his beloved companion, ""Cooper.""
He was a graduate of Gulfport High and attended MGCCC at Perkinston and the Univ. of Southern Mississippi. He served in the U.S. Army from 1985 to 1989 as a tank gunner and commander. He was a loving father and husband and his quick wit and sense of humor will be missed.
A graveside service will be at 11 am Thursday, October 13, 2016, in Biloxi National Cemetery.
Memorials may be sent to the Wounded Warrior Project.
