Alma Jeanette Wilson

Alma Jeanette Wilson, 96 of Gulfport passed away on February 18, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on September 8, 1927 in Gulfport to the late John Wesley Jamison & Lizzie Lea Bobinger Jamison.  Alma is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry Kenner Wilson; sons, Richard Lane (Mary Ellen) Wilson, Henry Wendell Wilson, and Steve Kendell Wilson; grandson, Montana Wilson; great granddaughter, Alexis Bosarge; brothers, Walter Jamison, and Mitchell Jamison.

Alma enjoyed being in the outdoors and going fishing.  She could sew and would make clothes for the family.  Alma loved playing cards with family and enjoyed being with family and friends. She was a person of faith and was a member of Trinity Pentecostal Tabernacle Church. She was a very outgoing and loving individual who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Alma is survived by her loving children, Rhonda (Walter) Campbell, Michael (Sandra) Wilson, Donna “Candy” (Michael) Sims; nephew, Ronnie Jamison; niece, Jean (Ben) McInnis.  Alma also leaves behind to cherish her memory 12 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 15 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, church family, and extended family.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Riemann Family Funeral Home Gulfport (11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS).  Her Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at the Riemann Family Funeral Home Gulfport with burial to follow at First Free Church of God Cemetery.
