Mr. Allie ""Frenchie"" Moreau, 87, passed away Monday, November 23, 2015 at the Biloxi VA.
Frenchie was a native of Elton, LA and was a long-time resident of Long Beach. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force, serving in the Occupational Forces of Japan, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He retired as a Master Sergeant after 21 years of total service.
He was the owner and operator of Cajun Carpet and Janitorial Service. He was a member of the VFW Post # 3937 and the M.O.C. Pup Tent #10. He served and held many positions, including past State Commander and he served on the VFW National Home Committee.
Frenchie also gave of his time and service, as he volunteered at the VA and as a driver for the DAV.
He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Betty Jean Moreau; his parents, Allie Moreau and Josephine Manuel Moreau; his son, Johnny Lee Bryson; his daughter, Judy Bryson-Weaver; and his 8 siblings.
Frenchie is survived by his three children, Robert A. Moreau (Bonita) of Alabama, Peggy Moreau Vander Pol Johnston (Steve) of Long Beach and James E. Moreau (Karen) of Saucier; 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends.
