Allan Lewis Robb, age 84 and a resident of Gulfport, passed away on April 11, 2016, after a lengthy battle with pulmonary fibrosis.
Mr. Robb was raised in Pachuta, MS and retired in Gulfport. He retired as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force and served his country for 20 years which included the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He was also a member of Cowan Road Baptist Church in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carrie Mae Robb and Henry Loral Robb; his brother, Raymond Robb and a sister, Betty Uebelhack.
Mr. Robb is survived by his wife of 61 years, Etaw Robb; his daughters, Jennifer Villarreal (Jeffrey) and Teresa Todaro (Shawn); his sister, Jean Dean; his brother, Henry Earl Robb; his grandchildren, Joseph Herbert, Katie Todaro, and Kelly Green (Trevor) and his longtime friend, Douglas Howard.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2016, at 1pm at Cowan Road Baptist Church, 425 Cowan Road in Gulfport, where friends may visit from 11:30am until service time. Burial will follow at 2:30pm at Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veterans Avenue in Biloxi.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Shriners Hospital (855-401-4897).
The Robb family would like to thank all of the physicians and nurses at Keesler Medical Center in Biloxi and Dr. Joel Watts, Dr. John Douglas and all of the nurses, staff and respiratory therapists from Memorial Hospital for their loving care during this difficult time. The family would also like to thank Father John Ugochukwu and Deacon Dick Henderson for their spiritual support.
