Alice B. Sapia, 79, a long time resident of Pass Christian, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016.
Mrs. Sapia was a native of Jonesville, LA and previously lived in Marrero, LA before moving to Pass Christian. She worked at Avondale Shipyard as the Supervisor of the IBM Department and she was an owner, operator and cook of a restaurant. Mrs. Sapia was of the Christian faith and was a member of Amazing Love Ministry Center in Pass Christian.
She was a loving wife of 63 years and will be greatly missed by her husband, Stanley J. Sapia, her sister, Joyce H. Fitch and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her paretns, Elzie and Martha Harris; sisters, Rachel Danitn, Virgie Sharp and Betty Chimento; and her brothers, Elzie ""Dave"" Harris and Joseph Harris.
Visitation will be held Monday, Sept. 5th from 10 to 11am at Amazing Love Ministry Center, 13296 Vidalia Rd., Pass Christian, with the funeral service to follow at 11am. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park, Avondale, LA.
