Alice L. Mate, age 81 and a resident of Long Beach died on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Antionette Gajeski Przybyski; six brothers; one sister and a grandson, Michael G. Mate, Jr.
Mrs. Mate is survived by her husband of 61 years, Stephen Mate, Sr.; her sons, Stephen Mate, Jr., Michael (Sue) Mate and George (Belinda) Mate; her sisters, Harriet Faltynski and Blanche Sniadecki; 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
A private burial will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery.
Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach, served the family.
