Alberta Watts

Alberta Goins Watts, 82, peacefully passed away in Gulfport on Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018, from complications of Alzheimer's. Alberta was born in 1935 in South Carolina.
She is survived by Clark O'Neal Watts Sr.; her children, Debra Brown Davis of Charleston, Vicky Brown Redding of Gulfport and Clark O'Neal Watts Jr. of Bonneau; her brother, James Henry Goins; her sisters, Patricia Goins Reece,Diane Goins Curby and Ann Goins Brown; her eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Alberta was a loving and caring force for her family and friends. Her wonderful smile and caring demeanor provided comfort and inspiration for those who knew her. Her determination and humility inspired siblings, children, grandchildren,great-grandchildren and friends. All of us who shared her life will carry her wisdom, charisma, determination and inspiration forward. Alberta will never be forgotten.
Her children plan to have a private service at a later date.
