Alan Warburton (1944-2020) peacefully passed away June 7, 2020.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen (Wertz)and Wilfred Warburton and his grandparents.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jean; his son, Dan and wife Machelle have four children, Abigail, Ella, Luke and Genevieve, his son, Michael and wife Misty have two girls, Haley and Kaleigh Warburton, his daughter, Deborah, has a daughter, Mandy Hungerford. Alan is also survived by his brother, Mark and wife Becky have a daughter, three sons, and ten grandchildren, his brother Jay and wife Betsy and have a daughter, two sons and two granddaughters. He's also survived by cousins.
A native of Iowa, after graduating from Radcliffe High School in 1962, traveled much of the world before retiring as a US Navy Senior Chief. Alan then worked for many years at the Department of Marine Resources. Along the way, he received a Master of Business Degree from The University of Southern Mississippi, Gulf Coast.
He was a wonderful family man who was happy fishing, camping or just spending time with his family. He volunteered at church, enjoyed amateur radio and flying radio-controlled airplanes, bird watching and jigsaw puzzles.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
A Private Mass of Christian Burial will be scheduled later.
