Admiral Casey Vaughan, Jr. "Boog", age 86, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 in Bay Saint Louis, MS.
Mr. Vaughan was a native of New Orleans, LA, lived in St. Bernard, then moved to Kiln, MS. He served in the Army National Guard for 8 years, a Chaplain and Board Member of the American Legion Post 139, an Alumni of Holy Cross High School, member of the Vaughan Golfing Group, and owned Vaughan Construction Company in St. Bernard. He also started the Domino's Social and Pleasure Club.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Admiral Casey Vaughan, Sr. and Clara Melerine Vaughan; sister, Alberta McManus; and his brother, Reed Vaughan, Sr.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Beverly Quigley Vaughan of Kiln; four children, Denise Walker (Philip) of Carriere, MS, Terri Fortenberry (Ronnie) of Carriere, MS, Leslie Morton (John) of Mandeville, LA, Admiral Casey Vaughan, III of Laurel, MS; four grandchildren, Travis, Kimberly, Brett, Kristen; eight great-grandchildren, Bryanna, Hunter, Abbygail Rose, Kane, Bryce, Brielle, Aiden, and Brinley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 1 PM at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church 9062 Kiln DeLisle Rd., Pass Christian, MS with visitation from 11 AM - 1:00 PM at the church.
