Ferdinand Hoffmann, Jr.

Ferdinand Edward Hoffmann, Jr. age 83 of Diamondhead, formerly of New Orleans, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ferdinand and Olivia Hoffmann, Sr.

Ferdinand is survived by his wife of 63 years, Janis Segui Hoffmann; his daughter, Terri Hoffmann; his brothers, Donald and Larry Hoffmann; and nieces and nephews and several other relatives and friends.

He was a very kind, religious, and loving father and husband.  He had a passion for playing golf, watching football on Sundays, and spending time with his friends.  In his earlier years he loved getting together with his friends and their families to celebrate Mardi Gras in New Orleans.

Ferdinand worked in the steamship industry most of his life and later worked in the casino industry dealing poker.  He was a member of the men’s club at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 21, 2019, at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Pass Christian, with a visitation from 10:00 AM until the mass.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
