Dianne C. Cartwright, age 66, of Gulfport, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2013.
Mrs. Cartwright was born in Mount Airy, LA to Olius McCrory Sr. and Zelma Knight McCrory. She was a resident of the Coast most of her life. She was a hairdresser and owner of Queen Bee Beauty Salon in Gulfport. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Gulf Coast Chapter 51, and a Rainbow Mom for the Gulfport Chapter 10. She enjoyed sewing and crafts in her spare time. One of her favorite things to do was to go fishing with her husband, PeeWee Wilson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred ""PeeWee"" Wilson; her parents; her siblings, Olius McCrory, Jr., Jack McCrory, Sr., and Maxine McCrory Shoemaker.
She is survived by her two daughters, Tabatha Scarborough (John) of Gulfport, and Tiffany Cartwright of Gulfport; granddaughter, Rebecca S. Wetzel (Mark, Jr.) of Saucier, and great grandson, Cameron Wetzel.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2013, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, from 8:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Funeral services will follow in the chapel at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens in Long Beach.
