Victoria Lynn Muñoz

Victoria ""Vicky Lynn"" (Dever) Muñoz went home to be with her Lord while at home with friends and family, following a long and difficult struggle with many ailments. The principle challenge was severe emphysema. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Genevieve Nicole Muñoz, and her parents, Dorothy Maxine and Harold Hunt Dever.
Surviving Vicky Lynn to celebrate her journey's end is her husband, Vicente ""Papa V""; and grandson Dillon Muñoz of Biloxi; son, Nicolas Muñoz; grandson, Connor; daughter-in-law, Lara, and her sons, Chase & Gavin of Virginia; step-son, Vicente of Tampa; step-daughter, Maria Elena of Ohio; step-son, Daniel of Georgia; foster daughters, Eileen Leckich and her husband Jason of D'Iberville and Trisha Rich and her husband Matt of Waterford, Michigan; sister, Sharon Ann Hudnut and her husband Richard of Summerville, SC, and their children Tim and Tara; thirteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and many loving foster grandchildren. The family gives special recognition to her nurse Leah King and caregiver Sara of Odyssey Hospice; and her household helper April Hale.
Originally from Quincy, Illinois, after graduating from Quincy High she entered the U. S. Air Force, where her twenty year career eventually brought her to Biloxi, where she chose to stay. Her Air Force career took her from the Mexican border to the Canadian border, Germany, around the Mediterranean, a second honeymoon in Spain, and to the Middle East (Turkey).
A visitation will be held from 6:0 0p.m. until 8:0 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd, Biloxi. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, March 18, 2013 at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 2004 Pass Road, Biloxi. Interment will full military honors will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery. Friends are invited to the church, where she was a long time member, for a gathering after her interment.
