Mrs. Wanda Shipman, age 56, formerly of St. Bernard and a resident of Diamondhead, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2015 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Shipman was born in New Orleans, LA to Richard and Doris Carrigee. She was of the Catholic faith. Her grandchildren were the center of her world. She was a very strong minded woman who had a love for life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Freddick Shipman; and her father, Richard R. Carrigee, Sr.
Wanda is survived by her daughter, Dawn (Randy); her three grandchildren, Macie, Madeline, and Zachary; her mother, Doris Carrigee; her brothers, Bill (Susan) Carrigee and Stever Carrigee. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew her.
