Virginia Yenewine Kersh

Virginia Yenewine Kersh, age 76, lifelong resident of Biloxi, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2014.
She was born to Charles and Sallie Lewis Yenewine. She was a parishioner at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic and loved fishing and shrimping.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Charles Yenewine, Tommy Walters, and George Walters; and two children, Edward Kersh, III and Debra Kersh Rogers.
Mrs. Kersh is survived by her husband Ed Kersh of Biloxi; her children, Kenneth Carroll, Marcia Kersh, Regina Kersh, and William Kersh; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and her brother, Ray Yenewine and his wife Yasha.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Notre Dame Hospice and all who cared for her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, where friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Southern Memorial Park.
