Vaida Elnora Ross Shumaker Miller

Vaida Elnora Ross Shumaker Miller, age 89 of D'Iberville, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016.
Vaida was born in Apollo, PA, and spent 30 years in Arizona before moving to the MS Gulf Coast 10 years ago. Loving her children and caring for her family was her life's mission, and she will be deeply and sadly missed. She will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen William Miller; her parents, James Chester and Viola May Ross; her son, Theron James ""Jimmy"" Shumaker; her daughter, Judith Ann Shumaker Franklin; and her sister, Erma Hilty.
She is survived by her children, Janice Gail Beckman (Bill) of D'Iberville, Susan Lynn Shumaker (Sherry Armstrong) of Phoenix, AZ, and Cheryl Lee Jackson (Steve) of D'Iberville; her sister, Alma LaRue Tarosky of Apollo, PA; her grandchildren, John Franklin, Angela Ybos, Colleen Dunsmore, Michelle Russell, Farrah Eells, Amy Engstrom and Benjamin Jackson; 13 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, August 27, 2016, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, at the corner of Lemoyne Blvd. and Washington Ave. with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel. A reception will follow in the funeral home's reception center.
