Ray P. Cuevas

Ray P. Cuevas, age 77, passed away with his family at his side on November 28, 2015. He was born January 8, 1938 in Catahoula, Mississippi and was a lifetime resident of the Gulf Coast. He loved The Lord, his family, good food, playing music, a good joke, and making others laugh. He gave us his love, his strength, and his laughter. He motivated us when we wanted to quit. His earthly body is no longer with us, but he and his love will live in our hearts forever.
He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis J. Cuevas; his mother, LuVenia Dedeaux Cuevas; his sons, Clay Cuevas and Randle Cuevas, and his daughter, Sandra Cuevas.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Theresa Daniell Cuevas; his daughter, Donna Cuevas-Manley; his sons, Donald Cuevas and Clifton ""Randy"" Cuevas; his daughter, Robin Cuevas-Bates; his grandchildren, Alison Espe, Liam Manley, Joseph Stroud, Joshua Stroud, Amanda Stroud-Meyer, and Jaime Cuevas; his great-grandchildren, Alyssa Mariah, Sydney, Carly Ray, Jacob Clay, Adilene, and Nathaniel; his sisters, June Cuevas Oberg and Carol Cuevas Meyers and his brothers, Gayle Cuevas, Murray Cuevas, and Curtis ""Danny"" Cuevas.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015, at 11am at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Pineridge Gardens in Gulfport.
