Nathan ""Pappy"" Honaker, 75, of Pass Christian, passed peacefully from this life on Thursday, July 2, 2015.
Nathan served his Country honorably and was a Veteran of both the United States Navy and Marine Corps, having served in the Vietnam War. They say that the true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good. Nathan's selfless affection and dedication not only nourished his family and friends, but all of those he came in contact with.
With Nathan, there was no distinction; spouse, sibling, child, step-child, grandchild, or friend, if he loved you, you were his family, and his love was unconditional. Nathan is survived by his wife Aletha and his son Greg. He leaves behind 6 sisters, 4 brothers, and a magnitude of family and friends who loved him unconditionally.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at 10:30am at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment with full military honors rendered by the United States Navy Honor Guard will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery at 12:30pm.
Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road in Pass Christian, served the family.
