Myrtlean Claire Anderson, 92, of Gulfport, Mississippi, passed away October 6, 2015.
She was born on July 17, 1923, in McClain, Mississippi. She was formerly employed at Pass Christian Industries as a seamstress and was of the Baptist faith. She will be sorely missed by family and friends.
Myrtlean is survived by her children, Merida Kay Winters of Gulfport, and Johnny Ray Earwood of Gulfport; 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. M.C. Anderson; and her parents, Leroy Tildon and Eliza Evelyn Byrd Hathorn.
The family will receive friends at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, on Thursday, October 8, 2015, from 6:00PM - 8:00PM.
Funeral services will be at 9:00AM on Friday, October 9, 2015 in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
