Misty Dawn Daniels

Misty Dawn Daniels, age 34, of Kiln, passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side and entered into God's eternal kingdom on Thursday, February 26, 2015 after a brave and courageous battle with cervical cancer.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Albert Daniels, Sr. and Marlene Daniels; paternal grandparents L.B. Ladner, Sr. and Doris Cuevas; Aunt Lois Ladner and Uncle Roger Ladner.
Those left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Cassidy Daniels, Madyson Daniels, Treylea Randall, McKalea Randall. Her parents L. B. ""Coon"" Ladner, Jr. and Katherine Daniels, her sister Michelle Cuevas (James), niece Whitney Cuevas, godson Hayven Deschamp and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and acquaintances.
Always full of radiance, energy and love Misty was a beloved and devoted mother, sister, daughter, niece, cousin and friend who was truly a one of a kind, outspoken, generous and kind-hearted person that lived her life to the fullest. A great listener to all and gave good advice in return. She was entertaining, quick witted and beautiful with an infectious presence and glowing smile. An avid animal lover, she had a big heart for animals; loving them just as humans and showering them with hugs, kisses and nose rubs. She loved her big family, growing up close with her cousins as a young child and forming closer relationships with aunts and uncles as an adult. A dedicated mother to her four girls; she loved them more than anything and made sure they each knew how much they were loved with all their special adventures and quality time. She will live on in each of them by the values and attributes that she instilled in them. She will continue to be a guiding light in their lives. A true warrior in this battle and peaceful soul, she will be desperately missed by so many but may she eternally rest in peace.
A special thanks to Dr. Richard Kline (Ocshner Gynecological Oncology Clinic), Dr. Olivia Hightower (Gulfport Medical Oncological Clinic) and Notre Dame Hospice staff (especially Fanta, Jennifer, Missy and Terry) for their endless compassion, faith and expertise.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, March 1, 2015 at 3 p.m. with a visitation two hours prior to the service at Shiloh Baptist Church, Perkinston with interment to follow at Standard Sandhill Cemetery, Kiln.
In lieu of flowers, Misty preferred memorials to Misty Daniels Benefit Fund, 4050 Misty Lane, Kiln, MS 39556 for the future care of her children.
