Minnie Parker McNeece, age 91, of Gulfport, passed away on January 6, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Monroe Whitten, and her son, Charles W. Parker, her siblings, Ida Byrd, Pearl Mitchell, Lloyd Whitten, and Lawrence Whitten.
Survivors include her son, Robert ""Bobby"" Parker, 4 grandchildren, Robert ""Bobby"" Parker, Sanford ""Sandy"" Parker, Karen Parker, and Brian Parker, 5 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Mrs. McNeece retired from Bell South after 32 years of service. She was an active member of Bayou View Baptist Church since 1973 where she served on various committees and volunteer groups. She worked diligently with the Baptist Children's Village, Deanash Campus, in Bond, MS for many years. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 11, 2015, from 1 - 2 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd., Biloxi. The funeral service will be at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel.
Burial will be in Southern Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to Bayou View Baptist Church, 4709 Chamberlain Ave., Gulfport, MS 39507, or Baptist Children's Village, Deanash Campus, 80 Sellers Rd., Wiggins, MS 39577.
