Maritta Claudette Cutrer

Maritta C. Cutrer, age 82, passed away peacefully, on July 24, 2016. She was a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast, a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Maritta loved her family, and she loved cooking!
She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Saucier and Spicey Saucier; brothers, Curtis Saucier and Elim Saucier; sisters, Earline Wedgeworth, Gladys Dunaway, Irene Saucier and Lois Saucier.
Maritta is survived by her children, J.L. Cutrer Jr., (Beverly), of Walker, LA, Susan Cutrer, of Ocean Springs, and Scott Cutrer (Jerry), of Grand Island, NE; her sister Donna Ryan of Ocean Springs, Clinton Saucier of D'berville; seven grandchildren, Jeremy Cutrer (Lauren), Ashley Lee, Brent Cutrer (Rosa), Kevin Cutrer (Denise), Lindsey Hawley, Jordan Cutrer and Jesse Cutrer; thirteen great grandchildren, Dylan Lee, Madelyn Lee, Luke Cutrer, Bella Cutrer, Sophia Cutrer, Jake Cutrer, Melina Cutrer, Kaitlyn Cutrer, Callie Cutrer, Clayton Cutrer, Isaah Hawley, Eli Hawley, Selah Hawley.
The family wishes to express their appreciation and thanks to Amedysis Home Health and Southern Care Hospice for the loving care given to Maritta.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations in Maritta's name to Ronald McDonald House, 1626 Spring Hill Ave., Mobile, AL 36604.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 11:00 am, with visitation one hour prior, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd., at the corner of Washington Ave. An online guestbook may be signed, and memories shared at www.riemannfamily.com.
