Lana Middleton, age 72, of Vancleave, passed away Friday, August 4, 2017 in Ocean Springs, MS.
She was born August 21, 1944 in Laurel, MS to John and Opal Whatley. She attended Calhoun High School and played the Clarinet in the band. She loved playing violin with her father.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Opal Whatley and her brother, Steve Whatley.
Survivors include her sons, Steve Myrick and Rex Cowart; her granddaughter, Jana Myrick; her brother, Gary Whatley and wife Totsy; her sister, Ouida Campbell; her nephews, Van Johnson and Glen Whatley; her nieces, Kim Hammonds and Vanna Johnson Cook; and a host of friends.
