Kenneth Sumrall

Our beloved husband and father, Kenneth L. Sumrall, age 84, passed away to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, June 25, 2017. He was a Vietnam veteran serving the U.S. Air Force for 26 years from which he retired. He was a lifelong resident of Gulfport, Mississippi. Kenneth was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lyman and he dearly loved each and every church member. As an avid gardener, Kenneth enjoyed working in his garden and yard. He loved his dog Jackson and he will be missed by all. We cherished our time with him.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Judy Lynn McMillan; brother, Tommy Sumrall; and parents, Gaines and Vera Sumrall.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Alice M. Sumrall; sons, Kenneth L. Sumrall, II (Ilda), Joey W. Spiers (Ramona), Michael B. Sumrall (Shirley); daughters, Pamela Browning, Dawn Laskey; brothers, Norris Sumrall (Barbara), Terry Sumrall (Virginia); 17 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 6-8 PM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. Funeral services will be on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 9 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery.
