Jerold Nicolls

Jerold L. Nicolls, age 63, of Saucier, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017.
Mr. Nicolls was born in Boise, Idaho to Leroy and Laurel Bobbink Nicolls. He served in the U.S. Navy as a Seabee for 24 years where he was a steel worker before his retirement. A proud American, he was a member of the Navy Seabee Veterans of America, the DAV, The Amercian Legion, and the VFW. He enjoyed volunteering and helping at the carpentry department of the Blind Center at the Biloxi VA. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and loved the Boise State Broncos. Other hobbies were bass fishing, reading and watching westerns, and Cruisin' the Coast in his antique trucks ('86 Chevy and '89 Ford). Jerry was always a dog-lover, with his favorite being 'Big Biloxi'.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew, Michael Kelly.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Nadine Necaise Nicolls of Saucier; siblings, Michael Nicolls (Lynn) of Boise, ID, John Nicolls of Meridian, ID, Debbie Kelly (Mike) of Meridian, ID, Penny Swenson of Meridian, ID, Christy VanLeuven of ID; and his stepmother, Rose McClue of Meridian, ID.
Visitation will be held at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, on Thursday, May 25, 2017, from 6-9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Friday in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m.
Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery with full military honors by the U.S. Navy Honor Guard.
