Jeanette Shaw Williamson

Jeanette Shaw Williamson, age 94, of Gulfport, was called home by her heavenly father on October 6, 2015.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Mack Williamson to whom she was married for 75 years, her parents, Javin and Lillian Shaw, her brothers, Howard and Clinton Shaw and sister, Thelma Saucier.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her son, Roger Mack Williamson and wife Jo, her grandson, David E. Williamson and wife Julie, great-granddaughter, Lauren N. Williamson, Corey Tiblier-Gutierrez (John), sisters Beurisa Ladner, Lovell Geiger (Darryl), and Loretta Ladner, brother, Irvin Shaw (Ann) and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Williamson graduated from Perkinston Junior College and taught school at Lyman Elementary. She retired from Sears with 28 years of service. She loved her family and cherished every moment spent with them. She loved to fish, cook and watch sports with her husband Lloyd. Her niece Shelia was like a daughter to her; they shared a very special and loving bond with plenty of laughs and tears.
Her family wishes to send a special thanks to her caregivers: Bonnie Shelton, Charlotte Cooley, Barbara Swan and Southern Care Hospice nursing staff for their special care and compassion.
Visitation will be on Sunday, October 11, 2015 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 12, 2015 in St. Joseph Catholic Church on Depew Road in Gulfport. Burial will be in Biloxi National Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2015.
