James ""Jimmy"" Edward Ladner Sr., age 78 of Kiln, passed away March 28, 2015.
Mr. Ladner was born in Hancock County to Monroe and Azeline Ladner. He was preceded in death by his wife of many years, Colena Marie Ladner, his parents, Monroe and Azeline Ladner, his sisters, Earlee Ladner, Elsie Ladner Necaise, Wilma Ladner Cuevas, his brothers, Willard ""Bud"" Ladner, Wilton ""Bill"" Ladner, grandson, Derick J. Ladner, and great-granddaughter Derica Ladner. He is survived by his special companion of many years, Mildred Ladner, his four sons, James E. Ladner, Jr., Danny Carl (Tina) Ladner, Raymond J. (Theresa) Ladner, Frank S. (Cherelle) Ladner, four daughters Debra (Marty) Hudson, Elaine (Murphy) LaBauve, Beverly (Delbert) Cuevas, Melanie (Cecil) Ladner, 21 Grandchildren, 36 Great Grandchildren, and many step daughters, step sons, and step grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 31st at the home of James E. Ladner, Sr. 22090 Road 372 Kiln, MS 39556 from 3 pm until. A Mass of Christian Burial is at St. Matthews The Apostle Catholic Church, White Cypress on Wednesday at 10 am. Burial is immediately following the mass at Alphonse Malley Cemetery.
