James Baumgartner

Retired Senior MSGT, James Baumgartner, was born in Berwyn, Illinois. He departed this life on November 17, 2011 due to complications from cancer.
He attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering, and the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. He received a degree in Electronic Engineering from the Air Force Community College. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in September 1969 and retired after 26 years of service. Mr. Braumgartner was also a member of the local Amateur Radio Club.
Mr. Braumgartner was preceded in death by his beautiful wife of 21 years, Mrs. Judith Baumgartner, and his loving father, Mr. Elmer Baumgartner.
He is survived by his mother, Lorraine Baumgartner of Diamondhead, MS, and his sister Ellen Lorraine Baumgartner Vick of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Memorial donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 5:00 PM at the Grace Lutheran Church, Long Beach, with a visitation for family and friends from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Biloxi National Cemetery.
