MSgt Harvey Lee Holloway, USAF, Ret, age 82, a native of Missouri and a resident of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Sylvia (Marrs) Holloway; his brothers, James Holloway, Melvin Holloway, and Roy Holloway; and his sisters, Jo Holloway, Retha Mae Holloway, and Dondena ""Tootsie"" Rossie.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lavada Smith Holloway; his children, Dwight (Debi) Holloway, Ron (Laura) Holloway, Darrel (Cindee) Holloway, and Scott (Penny) Holloway; his siblings, Dora Leen (Charles) Wilmoth, Harlon Dee (Ruby) Holloway, Billie Bishop, and Larry Wayne (Genell) Holloway; his grandchildren, Heather (Chris) Bartlett, Veronica Holloway, Brandon (Sabrina) Holloway, Ashley Holloway, Jamie (David) Ainsworth, Christy (Jeremy) Martin, Johnny (Robin) Holloway, Emily Holloway, and Erin (Danny) DuPree; his great-grandchildren, Aleah Bartlett, Jillian Holloway, Karson Holloway, Karlee Holloway, Kaden Barnes, Charlotte DuPree, Christian Barnes, Gabriel DuPree, Sophia Ainsworth, Lainey Bartlett, Hayden Ainsworth, and Lily Martin; and his sisters-in-law, Billie Holloway, Carolyn Holloway, and Ellen Holloway.
Mr. Holloway received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Master's degree from William Carey College. He retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Master Sargent after 21 years of service. In 1970 he was named Instructor of the month at Keesler Air Force Base. Mr. Holloway taught Math and Computer Science at St. Martin High School for 22 years.
He loved recording his family life in pictures and film. He served as a deacon and a church officer at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Ocean Springs.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Ocean Springs with a visitation for family and friends two hours prior to the service. The burial with full military honors will be held on Monday, March 30, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery.
