Gloria E. Bush, age 83, of Gulfport, passed away on March 26, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her husband, YNC Joe M. Bush, Jr., U.S. Navy, Retired, and her parents, Ernest and Vera Demellweek.
Survivors include her children, Merrick Bush, of Gulfport, MS, and Linda (Joe) Miller, of Minnesota; 3 sisters, Maureen Atwill, Paula (John) Rackley, and Peggy (Ken) Vinson, of England; 1 grandson, Sean Miller, of North Dakota; and her beloved dogs, ""Barnaby,"" ""Henry,"" ""Sheba,"" and ""Mollie.""
She enjoyed growing roses, spending time with her pets, making and painting ceramics, and was a shopping expert. She loved traveling, especially cruises, with her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be sent to the Humane Society of South Mississippi, 2615 Hwy 49, Gulfport, MS 39501.
A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Friday, April 3, 2015 in the Biloxi National Cemetery.
