Gladys Lawton

Gladys (McKay) Lawton, age 93, lifelong resident of Gulfport, passed away on January 12, 2017.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Lawton, Sr.; parents, Ed and Mandy McKay; two brothers, Elmer McKay and Daniel McKay; two great grandsons, Ryan Boyd and Nicholas Ladner; and her lifelong companion, Joseph Blaise.
She is survived by her three children, Edna Boyd (Bob) of Saucier, Edward "Sammy" Lawton of Walnut, MS, Clayton Lawton, Jr. (Elaine) of DeLisle; 4 siblings, Edna Stevens of Houston, TX, Edgar "Red" McKay of Gulfport, Margie Martin of Long Beach, Ellen Wilson of Gulfport; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gladys was an excellent homemaker and a member of Gulfport Assembly of God.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 11:30 AM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. An online obituary may be viewed and memories shared at www.riemannfamily.com
