G. Wallace Harriel, age 78 and a resident of Gulfport, died on Wednesday, January 28, 2015, in Gulfport.
Mr. Harriel was a native and lifelong resident of the MS Gulf Coast. He was a member of the Joppa Shriner's Temple in Biloxi, the Polar Star Masonic Lodge # 0154 and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Gulfport. Mr. Harriel was a retired electrician and was a member of the IBEW Local 903 in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Hilma Harriel and his brother, Francis Harriel.
Mr. Harriel is survived by his wife of 58 years, Bobbie S. Harriel of Gulfport; his children, Charla Necaise of Gulfport, Debbie (Jay) Chapman of Waynesboro, MS, Glen (Kim) Harriel of Gulfport, and David (Barbara) Harriel of Kiln; 9 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery in Gulfport.
