Ervin Murray Lee

Ervin Murray Lee, age 63, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at his residence.
Mr. Lee was a native of Kingstree, SC and a long-time resident of the Gulf Coast. He graduated from both Southeastern Bible College in Lakeland, FL and from William Carey University. He retired after 21 years as an accountant at South MS Regional Center, and previously worked at Pavco Industries in Pascagoula. He enjoyed singing, golfing and camping with family. He was a member of Gulf Coast Worship Center where he served on the board and a prior member of First Assembly of God, Gulfport.
In his quiet and humble way, Ervin comforted, inspired, and listened, while bringing laughter, warmth, and kindness into the lives of so many people. He was an amazing father, wonderful husband, and devoted friend. He purposed his life to following God's Word, and through his words and actions, he was a shining example of Our Father's love and compassion. Words cannot describe how much he will be missed, but we find comfort in knowing that we will be reunited with him in Heaven one day.
Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his father, William Hillard Lee and his mother, Leola Tedder Lee.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Linda Fleming Lee of Long Beach; his daughter, Amber Lee Addison (Matthew) of Long Beach; his son, Matthew J. Lee (Rachel) of Locust Grove, GA; grandchild, Tripp Arthur Addison; and three siblings, Gloria Poston (Gerald) of Pamplico, SC, Daniel Lee (Stella) of Cudes, SC and Lavone Le of Kingstree, SC.
Friends are invited to join the Lee family for visitation from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Gulf Coast Worship Center, 18381 28th Street, Long Beach, MS. The funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. Burial will be held privately for the family at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens.
