Eddie Joseph Peterson, age 66, passed away July 25, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Lucille Peterson.
Eddie is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Debbie Laurent Peterson of Kiln, MS; his children, Angela Marie McGowen of Kiln, Eddie J. (Courtney) Peterson, Jr. of Waveland, and Jennifer Ann (Joey) Alligood of Kiln; sister, Linda Garcia of the Barth community; and 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
He was retired from Diamondhead Water and Sewer, and was a former member of Hancock Co. Parks and Recreation Board where he served for 25 years.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 28, 2016, at Annunciation Catholic Church at 5pm with a visitation beginning at 3pm.
Burial will follow in Alphonse Malley Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Notre Dame Hospice, 5407 Indian Hill Dr., Diamondhead, MS 39525.
