Diane Farragut

Diane Elizabeth Hincks Farragut, age 74, of Pass Christian, passed away on August 20, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Brig. General Wallace E. Farragut; her parents, William Gautier Hincks and Geraldine Elizabeth O'Brien Hincks; and a daughter, Elizabeth Farragut.
She is survived by her children, Wallace E. Farragut, Jr. (Samina) of Pass Christian, Steven W. Farragut (Jenny) of Gulfport, Richard A. Farragut of Pass Christian, and Adam F. Farragut (Jessica) of Madison, WI; her siblings, Sylvia Spratley of Ocean Springs, Odell Peranich of Bay St. Louis, William Hincks of Long Beach, and Robert Hincks (Margie) of Bay St. Louis; six grandchildren, Lauren Farragut (Jeff) Bertucci, Tom (Sara) Farragut, Kayleigh and Taylor Farragut, and Maddie and Michael Farragut; and two great grandchildren, Ward Bertucci and Olivia Bertucci.
She was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy High, New Orleans where she enjoyed playing basketball. She was a past owner of a nursery in Pass Christian and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She was also a member of D.A.R. of Mississippi.
The family wishes to thank the staffs of Seashore Highlands and Compassus Hospice for their care and compassion.

Visitation will be on Friday, August 26, 2016, from 2 - 4 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach. A prayer service will be at 4 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Live Oak Cemetery.
