David Allen Bogolin, 69, a resident of Gulf Breeze, FL peacefully passed away, Tuesday, February 24, 2015 in Pensacola, FL surrounded by loved ones.
He was born in Pennsylvania and David was a longtime resident of Long Beach where he graduated from Long Beach High School in 1964. He worked for many years at Butch Oustalet Ford in Gulfport before moving to Gulf Breeze. He was employed and retired from Beal Parkway Lincoln Mercury as service and parts manager in Fort Walton.
David was joyfully reunited in Heaven with his wife and best friend of 35 years, Sally; his mother and father, Mary Margaret and Joseph Phillip Bogolin; and his brother-in-law and
He is survived by two sons, David A Bogolin Jr of Gulf Breeze and Daniel A Bogolin of Long
Beach; grandchildren, Morgan, Mady and Colby Bogolin, of Pass Christian; brothers, Regis
(Grace) Bogolin of GA and Charles (Carol) Bogolin of Diamondhead; sister, Loraine Brown of VA, sister-in-law Jill Dolan of Gulfport; and brother-in-law, Chuck Hadaway of Gulfport. He is also survived by a brother-in-law, Drew Hadaway of Gulfport who selflessly and faithfully cared for David day and night for more than a year. He leaves behind many other family and friends.
David was an adored father, Paw-Paw, uncle, brother & friend with an unfailing sense of humor
and an unmatched wit. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing on The Pearl River, and was built Ford
tough. His greatest and most important love has always remained his wife. He will be missed
and remembered by so many, until we meet again.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the American Cancer, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 1:30 PM until 3:00 PM on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Rd., Long Beach, MS, where the funeral service will take place at 3:00 PM. Burial will follow in Long Beach City Cemetery.
