Christopher Dean Montiforte

June 29, 1978 — November 25, 2015

Christopher Dean Montiforte, 37, of Pass Christian, MS passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015 of a brain aneurysm. Chris was born on June 29, 1978 in Biloxi, MS, the youngest of three children to Joey and Diane (Yow) Montiforte. After graduating from Biloxi High School in 1996, he attended USM in Hattiesburg, MS where he met the love of his life, Kiley Denise Ladner. It was there he received his bachelor degree in Construction Engineering in 2001, and in 2002 he wed his soul mate. They have three daughters who were the light of his life. He was employed by Fletcher Construction and recently co-founded Little Saints Academy preschool in Pass Christian, MS. Chris was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church and will always be remembered for his willingness to lend his carpentry skills to friends and family who were in need of a helping hand. Most remember Chris as a passionate father, an adoring husband, son, brother, uncle, and a selfless human being. The mention of Chris's name evokes the idea of a kind-hearted spirit with a relentless will to serve others and love whole-heartedly. Chris was a beautiful person, affectionately known for his good nature, genuine smile, witty personality, encouraging words, and heart of gold to help all in need. Chris was the best example of a family man who enjoyed the outdoors and shared this passion with his family. He was an avid sportsman, and when he was not spending time with his girls, he could often be found sitting in a tree stand, especially on Sundays with his nephew Brennan, or fishing the bayous as he loved enjoying the beauty of God's creation. His love for life and his family will be greatly missed.
Chris leaves behind his wife Kiley Montiforte of 13 short years; his three gorgeous daughters Jasmyn (11) , Ande Grace (7), and Clara (3); parents Joey and Diane Montiforte; siblings Elaine (Buddy) Vuyovich, Sean (Shannon) Montiforte; maternal grandmother Elaine Montiforte; Uncles Glenn (Carol) Montiforte, Richard (Martha) Montiforte, Sammy Montiforte, Kurt (Debbie) Montiforte, Doug (Jamie) Montiforte, Glenn (Luann) Yow; Aunt Jane (Bobby) Rathburn; and nieces and nephews Brennan and Sage Montiforte, Hattie and Patrick Wells. He is also survived by his father and mother-in-law Harry and Nancy Ladner and sister-in-law Paula (Seth) Wells and the entire ""Ladner Clan."" He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Sammie and Rosie Yow and paternal grandfather Sam Montiforte.
