Carrol Fletcher, age 70, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017 in Gulfport, MS.
Carrol was born to Jack and Irene Reynolds in Marshall, TX. She was a business school graduate and worked as a book keeper by trade. Living on the MS Gulf Coast and Bayou Bernard, Carrol loved fishing. She also had a great love for her dogs. It was often said by others, "When I die, I want to come back as one of your dogs!"
Carrol is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Irene Reynolds; son, James R. Fletcher, Jr.; and her sister, Lynda McEntyre.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, James R. Fletcher, Sr., of Gulfport; daughter, Sonya F. Horner of Slidell; grandson, Steven James Horner of Lufkin, TX; sister, Jackie Robertson (Mike) of Garland, TX; brother, Glenn Reynolds (Elizabeth) of Haughton, LA; nephew, Mike Robertson; two nieces, Debra Bolin and Melynda Kirbow; and several great nieces and nephews.
The family will have a private gathering. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to your local humane society or a charity of your own choice.
