Carole Lee (Garner) Roach, age 73, a native of Fort Smith, AR, and a resident of Gulfport, MS, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017.
After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Alabama, she served in the medical profession at Memorial Hospital and Garden Park Hospital. Additionally, she worked as a Home Health Nurse.
Carole was an avid reader and loved to travel. She devoted her life to her family and patients, and she was an angel to all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl O. and Edna Lee Gardner; and by her husband, Billy L. Roach.
Carole is survived by her four children, Chris Roach and partner Donna Brown of Mobile, AL, Merry Carol and Earl Glover of Lawton, OK, Brian Roach and fiancée Tricia Allen of Gulfport, MS, and Shawn Roach, also of Gulfport, MS; four grandchildren, Christian Roach, Brandon Roach, Alvia Roach and Connor Johnson; her beloved niece, Kathryn East-Bedsole; sisters-in-law, Mary Bayne, Betty Senka and Nina Roach; and brother-in-law, Mike Roach.
Her graveside service will be at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at the Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veterans Blvd., Biloxi.
