Carl Langford

Carl A. Langford, age 99, of Gulfport, passed away on July 28, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Langford; his parents, Charles and Margaret Langford; his sisters, Ruth Varnado, Rachel Bard, Helen Kowaluk, Ethel Langford and Julia Langford; a brother, John Langford.
Survivors include his children, Connie (Hank) Cumberland and Carolyn (David) Brooks; a brother, Earl Langford; a sister; Edith Mayfield; 7 grandchildren, Barry Brooks, Amanda Brooks, Kerri (Quentin) McBride, Alicia (Greg) Moore, Jennifer (Joey) Pilgrim, Justin (Cerelina) Cumberland, and Janie (Nelson) Ballew; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII and he was an avid deer hunter, bird hunter, and enjoyed gardening.
A graveside service will be at 2 pm Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
