Brandy Hoetger

November 3, 1970 — July 6, 2017

Brandy Lēa Hoetger, 46, a resident of Gulfport, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017 at home. She was born in Jacksonville, FL on November 3, 1970.
Brandy is survived by her parents, Sherrel Maurine Loft Hoetger of Gulfport and Scott Ward Hoetger Sr. of Bay St. Louis; her son, Noah Christian Hoetger-Garner, 15, of Gulfport; her four siblings, MeLissa Anne Hoetger McAllister, Scott Ward Hoetger Jr. both of Horn Lake, MS, Christina Maurine Hoetger, and Sonny Christopher Hoetger and his wife, Sharon, all of Gulfport; her niece, Kailey Mary Hoetger of Gulfport; her nephew, Andrew James Morgan of Gulfport; her uncle, Marvin R. Loft Jr. and his wife, Marilyn of Memphis, TN; and her aunt, Michele R. Loft Crider and her husband, Barry of Millington, TN.
Brandy is a graduate of Harrison Central High School. She worked at Sonic Drive-In, in both Gulfport and Memphis and at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi.
She loved the beach, dolphins, fishing, music and her pet Gecko (lizard). Brandy is of the Christian Faith and a member of Ramsay United Methodist Church.
Brandy just wanted to be a good mom. She worked hard to give her son, Noah, (having autism) every benefit available. She strived to achieve greatness in his life, loving and caring for him more than life itself and yet struggled and endured many obstacles. I feel she is now looking down on us and smiling finally at peace. I too feel her death and its circumstances will touch others and just maybe save a life.
Her family wants to thank everyone that touched Brandy's life and tried and did help her in so many ways. Thank God for letting her, most of all, be a mom and now letting her rest in peace. Bless you, my first born, we will miss and love you always! Love, Mom and your Family
Free as the Dolphins in the Sea
Brandy, God has you now in his arms holding you tight and shall give us the go-ahead before moonlight. We shall spread your ashes in the wide-open sea. The waves are clashing to join the Dolphins so free. Your heart and soul with God shall be. Bless you, my dear daughter, Bless you for God has sent for thee. Love you for always, and without one plea for now you are at peace and have been set free... Forever hold you in my heart. Love, Mom
