Adelle Robinson

Mrs. Adelle ""Granny"" Robinson, 80, of Gulfport died Sunday, February 7, 2016 in Biloxi.
Mrs. Robinson was a native of Magee, MS and had been a resident of Gulfport since 1958. She was a member of Greater Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. She was employed with The Mississippi Department Public Health for 44 years on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. ""Granny"" was well known along the coast for helping thousands of families deal with the most difficult times in their lives. She was well respected in the community for being kind and generous and her love for others will carry on for years to come.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dave ""Granddaddy"" Robinson, her parents, Dorothra Jaynes and Mary Jane Magee.
Survivors include her son, Glenn D. Robinson, of Gulfport; one grandson, David I. Robinson, Gulfport, numerous other family members and friends.
The visitation will be Friday, February 12, 2016 from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS 39503. The graveside service will begin at 1:30 pm in the Biloxi National Cemetery.
